Built in 1885, this 2 bedroom cottage is an original Ozark Mountain homestead which has been remodeled and tastefully appointed. Antique furniture and a cozy Franklin fireplace set a delightful mood. A Jacuzzi, microwave-equipped kitchen, color TV and VCR add convenience.

The original homestead grant for "The Homestead" was signed by President Chester A. Arthur in the late 19th century. The Homestead was our first cottage here at Fairwinds Mountain Cottages, and its success encouraged us to develop the cottage complex you see today.
